MONTRÉAL, September 25, 2026 / RMC / – Soraya Martinez Ferrada, mayor of Montréal, along with Dimitrios Jim Beis, mayor of Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough, are extending an invitation to media outlets to attend the official inaugural ceremony of the West Island’s very first major indoor aquatic complex.
Elected officials will be accompanied by representatives of Héloïse Thibodeau Architecte and of Atelier Paul Laurendeau, designers of the aquatic complex, as well as of artist Frédéric Larforge, creator of the public artwork that was integrated in this project.
A guided tour of the complex will follow the inaugural ceremony, allowing media representatives to discover the main facilities and capture images of the complex.
